 Day 6 - DFI More Google Sites - a huge amount of learning to do. Building a site from scratch Leading Learning using google sites Best part - analysing other class sites and learning from those                 - Planning and navigation tips                    - Connected - finding the Secondary sites Lots of mess and frustration - lots of assistance and time needed to get this site functional. Will definitely get back to this. Its for student work, a space to share, to peer assess, for exemplars and ............... Some student voice would help. What is it that would hook them in.                     
 DAY 4 DFI. AUG 20 LOTS OF LEARNING about  SHARING 1. Can now set up and will use google forms - amazing at the number of uses for this. 2. Storing all Hapara Tips for  when I  move from GC to Hapara, only using it as a monitoring tool currently. 3. My maps are hugely used in Social Studies already - year 10s are competent - used in a skills unit which will take them onto Geo with more confidence. A fun tool too. 4. Google sheets - usually use XL due to reporting to outside agency TEC., however will be able to convert to classroom use now - incl. charting Using Blog data from DFI resource the following graph was developed - can be sue for student self monitoring.
 DFI Day 2 - Post 2 Learning Manaiakalani break down makes much more of sense of everything.  RATE Calendar all good though not sure of capacity to get up to speed with add ons.  Creating  Google meet and record experience enjoyed, especially collaboration part though not enough time given to complete.  Sharing Recording now embedded on blog. Need to practice this bit. Google keep - New app on phone going to be very helpful!! Must get on with WWW.

  Manaiakalani Digital Fluency Intensive Day 1   - 30/07/2 To far -  Too fast.- Overwhelmed!!!!!! First session takeaways. What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy? What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional? What did I learn that could be used with my learners? What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life? MY LEARNING 1. "You are not empowered/motivated if you write a story for the teachers red pen. "  2. The importance of equity 3.
